主要从事有机功能分子的设计合成及其在有机半导体材料(有机太阳能电池、有机场效应晶体管等)、荧光探针、生物成像等领域的应用研究。目前以第一作者和通讯作者身份在J. AM. Chem. Soc.; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.;Chem. Soc. Rev.;Acc. Chem. Res.;Chem(Cell 子刊);Anal. Chem.;J. Org. Chem. 等国际权威期刊发表论文多篇。
